This Privacy Policy explains how this QR code generator ("the Service") handles information. The Service is a static website. QR codes are created on your device.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit the content you encode. That includes website URLs, plain text, email fields, WiFi network names, and WiFi passwords. Generation happens in your browser. We have no database of your QR codes.
2. Information that may be collected automatically
The hosting provider that serves these files may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and the page requested. That is ordinary web-server logging used for security and reliability. We do not use it to identify the codes you create.
3. Cookies and ads
We use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-5538034965587505) to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and limit how often you see the same ad. This can include personalized ads based on your activity on this site and other sites.
QR codes you generate are still created only in your browser and are not sent to Google AdSense. Ads are separate from the generator.
You can learn how Google uses data in advertising at Google Advertising, and you can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region that requires consent, Google may show a consent message before personalized ads are served.
4. Third-party scripts
The generator loads a QR library from a public CDN (cdnjs). The site also loads Google AdSense from googlesyndication.com. Those requests are made by your browser to those third parties, which have their own privacy policies. No QR content is sent to the CDN or to AdSense as part of generation.
5. Legal bases and your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, any limited server-log processing is based on legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You may have rights to access, deletion, or objection under GDPR, and similar rights under CCPA/CPRA if you are a California resident. Because we do not store QR content, there is typically no user profile to export.
6. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, use the contact method listed on your hosting or domain registrar record once the site is live, or the email you publish on the About page.
